COReHealth, the Region wins the "Best Practice Award" in Brussels

The Puglia-based platform for digital enablement and telemedicine of clinical networks, COReHealth , received the "Best Practice Award" from Regions4PerMed , the European interregional coordination for personalized medicine, in Brussels.

Regions4PerMed has identified the most relevant projects for five thematic areas:

• Big Data, electronic health records and health governance
• Health Technology and Connected and Integrated Care
• Personalising Health Industry
• Innovation Flow in the Health Care
• Tackling ethical, economical, legal and social aspects of Personalised Medicine

With COReHealth, the Region was awarded the prize for the Innovation Flow in Health Care area , while the other four prizes were awarded to the University of Leipzig, "BioRegio STERN" in Stuttgart and the University of Milan.

Since October 2020, this is the sixth recognition for the regional telemedicine operations center and it was collected by Giovanni Gorgoni, general manager of AReSS Puglia and Pasquale Notarangelo, DEC of the COReHealth project.
