The e-Health Area guarantees the governance of the implementation of regional telemedicine initiatives, promoting the harmonisation of tools and application models as well as the interoperability of services and the enhancement of the information content of the data produced.
It carries out the activities of:
- Definition of the regional governance model for the implementation and interoperability of telemedicine services
- Definition and monitoring of service standards for telemedicine services
- Definition of authorisation and accreditation criteria for telemedicine services
- Definition of the evaluation system for regional telemedicine services through performance indicators useful for planning, development, monitoring and verification
- Experimentation of models for the innovation of the primary care system and of territorial health and socio-health care with particular reference to the areas of fragility, chronicity and non-self-sufficiency
- Creation and maintenance of the Regional Catalogue of Telemedicine competencies;
- Management of technological and regional platforms for the provision of telemedicine services.
