PNC Chemicals - National System for the Control and Surveillance of Chemicals to Protect Public Health
This is the National Plan for investments complementary to the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRP). Investment 1.4 - AREA A5 'Prevention and reduction of physical hazards (including noise, ionising and non-ionising radiation) and risks associated with chemicals and processes'.
Promotion of the integration process between the Chemicals Surveillance Network and Control Network, through the interaction of the 'multi-site' systems of CAVs and Laboratories for the Safety of Consumer Products and Health Protection in Living and Working Places.
- Development of a 'multisite' of CAVs to facilitate the sharing of harmonised information and the effectiveness of interventions for the management of exposure cases in health emergencies
- Harmonisation of the management and technical activities of the Network laboratories through the creation of a multisite
- Strengthening the SIN-SEPI-ISS* to foster interaction between surveillance and control systems
- Information and public awareness of the dangers and risks related to Chemicals
- Promotion and support of European policies and regulations
- Qualification and certification of professional figures
